Pillin Pottery Definition
Pillin pottery was introduced by Polia and William in Los Angeles during 1940s. The clay used for producing the pottery were moulded, glazed, and fired up and later coated with paintings. The figurines were usually lengthened and depicted the images women, flowers, children, birds, animals, and fish. It also produced bowls and vases with no ornamentations. These pottery collectibles were marked with Pillin signature.
