Pilkington Definition
Pilkington Tile and Pottery Company is a factory that produced earthenware and pottery which was established in England during 1892. The company also produced buttons hatpins and vases which are decorated. The company started producing potteries that comes under the Lancastrian potteries which glazing which are opalescent. The opalescent glaze in potteries was introduced by Pilkington Tile and Pottery Company. The pottery manufacturing section of the company stopped in 1937 and presently the company is engaged in producing tiles.
