Camark Pottery Definition
The term 'Camark pottery' is used to refer to art pottery that was made in Camden, Arkansas during the early twentieth century. The production of these pottery, glazes, and wares began in 1924. These potteries played a major role in American ceramic industry. It was given the name 'Camark' to include both city of Camden and the state of Arkansas.
