Calotype Definition
Calotype is an early refinement process of photography. It was invented and patented by William H.F. Talbot.  It is also known as "Talbotype." This is a technique of yielding a negative image by allowing the silver chloride coated sheet of paper to expose to light in a camera obscura to produce an image on paper.
