Cycladic Art Definition
The Cyclades is a group of islands in south-western Aegean. It was first inhabited by voyagers from Asia Minor. These islands were rich in natural resources such as gold, silver, copper, obsidian and marble. Cycladic art is a type or branch of Aegean art. The term is used to refer to art forms of the ancient Cycladic civilization.
