Cylinder Definition
The word cylinder is derived from the Greek word 'kulindros' which means roller or tumbler. It is curvilinear geometrical shape which is in the form of an enclosed solid with straight parallel sides and circular or oval cross section. For example, canisters, drums, and rolling pins are cylindrical in form. We can see art done on cylindrical shapes/cylinders.
