Amarna Art Definition
Amarna art refers to a style of art produced during the Armana period in ancient Egypt around 1350 BC to 1290 BC. Art from the Armana period differs from typical Egyptian artwork. Most notably, humans depicted in Amarna style art are more feminine than in typical Egyptian images. Additionally, Armana art is generally busy or crowded, and often attempted to depict motion or specific activities.
