Heintz Art Definition
In 1903, Arts & Crafts Company, Buffalo was taken over by Otto Heintz. In 1906, the company’s name was changed to Heintz Art Metal Shop. This company used the trademark in a diamond shape with the letters HAMS in it. They made boxes, bowls, ashtrays, vases, bookends, trophies, desk sets, and smoking sets. The company used copper, brass, and bronze along with silver decorations. Copper items having enamel decoration in different colors were also made by the company. The company wound up the business in 1930.
