Hedi Schoop Definition
Hedi Schoop was one of the most talented artists who worked in California from the early 1940s till 1996. She designed every piece in her own style. Though she designed vases, plates, bowls, ashtrays and other forms, Schoop’s figurines of men and women were widely popular among the collectors. During the 1940s, Schoop started her own business with the name “Hedi Schoop Art Creations” at North Hollywood in California which lasted till 1954. Various types of marks ranging from stamped or incised Schoop signature to the rare Hedi Schoop sticker were used to emboss on its products.
