Color Depth Definition
Color depth refers to the number of distinct colors that can be stored per pixel. The term bit is used to express color depth. The color variety will be higher with more number of bits per pixel. One bit has 2 colors and 32 bits, which most computers support, will be around 16.7 million colors.
