Analogous Colors Definition
The term Analogous Colors refers to the color scheme forming two or more colors that are adjacent to one another on the color wheel. Analogous Colors are closely related and usually three adjacent colors are forming a group. One of these colors will be dominant. An example for this is, the colors blue, blue-green, and green all have the color blue in common. Analogous colors may be classified as the warm colors which include red, orange and yellow, and the cool colors green, blue, and violet. Analogous Colors are also referred to as adjacent colors.
