Clews Definition
The term Clews, in the context of antiques, refer to the  pottery made in England by George Clews & Co. of Brownhills Pottery. The company operated from 1906 till 1961. The popular Clews pottery includes green animal figures for gardens teapots made in the 1930s. Clews patterns also include bowls, creamers, cheese stands, cup & saucers, dishes and cup plates.
