Art Deco Definition
Art deco refers to an art movement that was popular from 1925 to 1935, during the period between the First and the Second World War. The name of this movement was obtained from French term arts decoratifs. During this period artists were influenced by simple angular designs and geometric patterns. The examples of art deco include ancient Egyptian designs and shapes of reminiscent of airplanes.
