Villeroy And Boch Definition
Villeroy & Boch Pottery was established in Mettlach, Germany in 1836. The company produced many wares, including table ware, decorative objects, mosaic ware and chromolith ware. Apart from Mettlach, the company had factories in other places also. The age of most pieces can be determined from the dating code impressed on the bottom. The Villeroy & Boch patterns include ashtrays, beakers, tureen and vases.
