A technology that aids a person to communicate with an environment created by computers. The computer created environment might be based on a genuine or fictitious place. The term 'Virtual Reality' was first popularized by the renowned Computer scientist Jaron Lanier during the early 1980s. Gradually, artists began exploring about virtual reality in a humble manner.
