Swiss Art Definition
Swiss Art refers to the arts in Switzerland. There is no such art that is typically Swiss art and the arts in Switzerland are just as diverse as the country itself. Most of the Swiss art forms focus on the Alps as a living environment. Another recurrent theme is the tendency to be modest. One of the art forms that are regarded as Swiss is iron sculpture. Switzerland houses many museums and galleries and numerous outstanding examples of architecture or historic locations where important artists worked.
