Roentgen Rays Definition
The roentgen is considered the measuring unit of x-rays and gamma rays. This can be measured in megaelectronvolts. The x-rays and gamma rays produces ionization in air and then by measuring the volume of ionization the x-ray exposure is measured. This measurement is named after the physicist who discovered x rays. His name was Wilhelm Roentgen.
