Rod Definition
Rod is cell in retina that enable vision and they act as the photoreceptors which is light sensitive and responds to light. The cons are rooted in the retina’s anterior surface and can be seen pink in colour. The rods are usually thin than the cons and are connected to brain through nerves which in turn pass the information to brain.
