Dargental Definition
D’Argental refers to a mark which was used on cameo glass wares by Compagnie des Cristalleries de St. Louis in France.  The company designed multi-layered and acid-cut cameo glass during the late nineteenth and twentieth centuries. D'argental mark was used in Cameo glass produced during the period  from 1919 to 1925. Thereafter, they produced enameled etched glass. Besides that, the term D’Argental is a French name for the city of Munzthal which was regarded as the home of glassworks.
