Crazing Definition
Crazing is an art similar to cracking. It is the process of creating network of cracks in ceramic glazes. It is purely artistic and is caused by contracting clay body at different rates after firing. When the same process is done using oil paints then it is known as crackle. It is characterized by the pattern of a spider web penetrating the glaze.
