Bleed Definition
Bleed is a term used in printing to refer printing when it spreads outside the edge of a sheet while trimming. Bleed is also a term used to refer spreading of edges in a painting if the paint pigments run across the painted area. Bleed is that part of a painting or a printing which can either be cut off or which can be covered by background colours or paints of the artwork.
