Blaue Vier Definition
Blaue Vier, also known as “the Blue Four,” is an association formed artists formed in 1924. The group consists of painters, Paul Klee, Wassily Kandinsky, Lyonel Feininger, and Alexei von Jawlensky. Blaue Vier was formed in Germany, although the artists Russian, Swiss, and American. After a painting by Kandinsky was rejected from an exhibition,  the four artists formed Blaue Vier in revolt. They conduct exhibition collectively in Germany, Mexico, and the United States.
