Pattern Definition
Pattern is a systematic and comprehensible formula or arrangement that is apparent in the means by which something occurs. The word pattern is derived from the Latin word pater which means father. The word got this meaning under the concept that sharing the origin and like things that got inherited from paternal side. Pattern not only means sharing of similar characteristics but also acts as a role model. Pattern can be well defined by the simple term imitation. Imitating the same form or following similar structure suits to the meaning of pattern very well. Repetition in shapes, size, colour or nature forms a pattern in design.
