Patriarchy Definition
Patriarchy means male dominance. Those society which give significance to male dominance can be classified as a patriarchal society. It is the amount of power exercised by a member of the society through generations that determines whether a society or family or government or ruling is patriarchal. In family, it may be the father or the eldest male member, who rules and runs the family.
