Lotus Ware Definition
Lotus Ware refers to the thin porcelain produced by Knowles, Taylor and Knowles Company of East Liverpool, Ohio. Joshua Poole and Isaac Knowles were behind the Lotus Ware products. Lotus Ware mostly had Art Nouveau designs of blossoms, shells and coral branches. The Lotus Ware product line had vases, ewers, candy dishes and creamers.
