Jubako Definition
Jubako refers to the traditional food box used in Japan. The lacquered Jubako are usually used for special occasions like Osechi (New Year). From the top, the layers are named as ichi-no-ju (the first box), ni-no-ju(the second box), san-no-ju(the third box).
