Gaudy Welsh refers to earthenware that is Imari-decorated with red, green, blue or gold. Unlike Gaudy Dutch, these earthenware much heavier and had a more naive coloring. The most popular designs in Gaudy Welsh include Grape Leaf, Sunflower, Tulip, Oyester, and Wagon Wheel. Like Gaudy Dutch, Gaudy Welsh were also made in England to be marketed to America.
