Gardner Definition
Gardner refers to Gardner Porcelain Works founded by Francis Gardner in 1766 in Verbiki, outside Moscow. The factory made porcelain figurines, table wares and glazed ceramic ware known as faience. In 1770s and 1780s, Gardner Porcelain Works was commissioned by Empress Catherine II to make the famous four Order of Services.
