Creil Definition
Creil was a factory founded in 1795 in France. It was the first French pottery that produced cream wares and tableware's. It was mainly associated with transfer-printed earthenware. These earthenware included designs of people, buildings, landscapes, and hunting scenes in their works. Different colours such as black, sepia, or reddish-brown were used.
