Crepuscular Definition
The term crepuscular is derived from the Latin term "crepusculum" meaning twilight. It means something that is dim or that which resembles twilight.  The Romans used the term "crepusculum" to refer to the light which appears after sunset. The half-light of evening was called as crepuscular by English writers during 17th century.  It is also known as sun rays that seem to radiate from the point where the sun is located. These lights are obviously seen during dawn and dusk. These rays are also called Buddha rays, God rays, Fingers of God, Jesus Rays, and Devil's Ray according to different religions and culture.
