Consolidated Lamp And Glass Company Definition
The Company was established in 1894 in Pennsylvania. They made lamps, art glass, and tablewares. Glass including black satin glass, Martele, Cosmos and colored glass made after 1925 are of great importance among antique collectors. The company made Martele glass in different colors like blue, green, pink, crystal, white etc. and maintained a satin finish. The company was wound up in the Great Depression. The Martele molds were sent to the Phoenix Glass Company. From 1933 until 1936, the glass was produced and sold with different name. In 1967, the company was closed for ever.
