Combine Definition
The term combine in the context of art refers to adding different objects on the painting surface resulting in an art work with features of painting and sculpture. The term was coined by the American Neo-Dada artist Robert Rauschenberg. The combine artist make use of any found objects such as photographs, newspaper cuttings and even clothes in accomplishing the work.
