Variety Definition
A theory of design that indicates the manner of mixing artistic elements to achieve complex and detailed relationships. Artists who are keen in boosting the visual interest of their artwork use diversity and thus introduce variety in their work. An artist who favors variety uses different shades, lines, curves, textures, and figures in his/her work.
