Upholstery Definition
Upholstery is term commonly seen used in relation to making of furniture. It is basically the act of upholstering the furniture. The soft padded fabric covering that is seen on furniture such as chair, sofas etc are called upholstery. Using springs in upholstery works can help in providing a cushion effect to the furniture. An individual who does the craft of upholstery or its trade is known as upholsterer. In upholstery related to art, specialized and distinctive artistic designs are used for the upholstery. There are different types of upholstery.
