Synchromism Definition
Synchromism is an art movement propounded by American painters Morgan Russell and Stanton Macdonald-Wright. Their first exhibition was held in France in 1913. It is a form of abstract art similar to Orphism. The idea behind synchromism is that colors in a painting can be arranged just like the musical notes in a symphony.
