Sunbonnet Babies Definition
Sunbonnet Babies were characters introduced in the book The Sunbonnet Babies. Eulalie Osgood Grover wrote the story and Bertha Corbett illustrated the book. It was the first children’s book where the same characters appeared throughout. The babies were illustrated with sunbonnets covering the whole of their face. A full line of children's dishes were made by Royal Bayreuth China Company which was decorated with the Sunbonnet Babies.
