Petrus Regout Definition
Petrus Regout is a successor of Maastricht merchant family that produced glass and earthenware and were involved in the trading of such pieces. It was Petrus Regout who found flourished their pottery trade. He was an entrepreneur and a member of Senate who in the seventeenth century became active in glass and earthenware trade. They also make ceramic potteries and the factory is named as De Sphinx and is situated at Maastricht city in Holland.
