Origami Definition
The word origami is derived from the Japanese terms 'ori' meaning folding, and 'kami' meaning paper.  It is a craft of folding paper into different shapes and objects. This art was a part of Japanese culture and were used to make decorative items out of paper. Origami in traditional practice only included practice of converting flat sheet of paper into moulded sculptures through folding. But in modern days it is associated with the use of cuts, glue and markings of paper.
