Occupied Japan Definition
Japan after World War II, inorder to rebuild their economy Japan exported the items manufactured in Japan to other countries.  But after the Word War II, Japan manufacturers were banned from exporting, and only goods with marking as “Occupied Japan” or “Made in Occupied Japan” were permitted to be exported.  These labelling were done with paper, cloth, engraving, handwritten or stamps. Such printings could be seen on pottery, porcelain, toys and other goods. They were usually inexpensive items and some were copies of European ceramic.
