Mural Definition
Mural refers to a painting, usually large, made on the wall directly. Encaustic, fresco and tempera are some of the painting techniques used in murals. Murals received great attention during Renaissance. The murals of Sistine Chapel made by Michelangelo are an example for murals of the Renaissance period.
