Mortice And Tenon Definition
Mortice And Tenon refers to an old technique used by woodworkers to join pieces. The cut out hollow object of the joint is called mortice and it received the tenon. Tenon refers to the projection and the end of the wood to be inserted into the mortice. Hand tools were used in making mortice and tenon joints.
