Montage Definition
Montage is the art of combining pictorial elements from several sources into a single composition. In film making, montage is an editing technique used to convey more information in a short time. Montage helps in linking unrelated shots to depict an association of ideas. When the images are glued together on a surface, it is called photomontage.
