Moderne Definition
The term Moderne in the context of art refers to art deco architecture of 1930s. Art Moderne architecture is also known as Streamline Moderne. Horizontal lines, rounded edges and use of plastic and glass are features of Moderne architecture. Moderne architecture was followed more in commercial buildings than residences.
