Macintyre Definition
In the context of antique, the term Macintyre refers to pottery made by James Macintyre & Company of England from 1898 to 1913. The company produced mainly utility ware. The art pottery studio of the company was headed by William Moorcroft who made wares decorated with floral and fruit designs which remain popular with collectors.
