Lutz Definition
Lutz glass was made of thin threaded glass of various colors. The name is derived from Nicolas Lutz who made the intricate glass pieces. The paper weights made by Lutz are also famous. He worked in the Boston and Sandwich Glass Company between 1870 and 1888. Lutz glassware includes chargers, cup & saucers, cruet, finger bowls and plates.
