Leeds Definition
Leeds refers to the pottery made in Leeds, England between 1174 and 1878. The popular Leeds pottery is ‘Creamware.’ The name originated from the pale cream color of the pottery produced by its translucent glaze. The early Leeds pottery had greenish glaze and the later pieces had blue boarders.
