Knife Boxes Definition
The term is used to refer to antique boxes that were used in ancient times to store knife. Knife boxes as early as the 18th century can be found in the antique market. Knife boxes were often made of wood with inlaid decoration. they had compartments to hold knives.  Both wall mountable and stationary boxes were found. In the Georgian Era, mahogany knife boxes were often seen.
