Humanism Definition
Humanism refers to a philosophical and ethical pattern of thought which emphasizes on humans and their values and capacities. The term humanism is derived from the Latin term humanitas which means human nature, civilization and kindness. It also refers to a joint cultural and intellectual movement which focused mainly on human capability to achieve excellence. Humanism stimulated the learning of art, literature, during Renaissance.
