Heubach Definition
Heubach is the name of a collector and refers to Gebruder Heubach. This was a firm in Germany during the period from 1840-1925. The firm was known for its principal products bisque dolls as well as doll heads. The dolls had sleep eyes or else intaglio eyes were painted. The hair was molded or wigged. The firm also manufactured bisque and glazed figurines during 1880s and 1900 respectively. Bisque figurines included Piano Babies. There were separate categories for dolls and Piano Babies.
