Fake Definition
The word ‘fake’ is literally used to refer to something that is not genuine or something designed in a way to create a deliberate misleading appearance. ‘Fake,’ in relation to antiques, may refer to an article or object that is modified to represent it as something else. It is not necessary that the alteration was made for deceiving others. However, the literal meaning of the term is also seen used in some context. Antiques are those items that have been in existence over 100 years. Articles those are not older than 100 years but shown under antiques may be called fake antiques. Fake antiques cannot be identified easily.
